Grounded Tutorial

Where Strong Roots Meet Steady Growth

Grounded Tutorial

Grounded is a homeschool tutorial designed to walk alongside families by strengthening students through skill-based learning labs rooted in the four academic core subjects: math, language arts, science, and history.

Grounded’s learning labs are not a replacement for a family’s chosen curriculum; they are a tool in the tool box of teaching children. They are a supportive extension of learning— offering targeted tutoring, concept reinforcement, and hands-on application and illumination of material students are already encountering at home.

Best for families who want:

  • A consistent learning rhythm two days a week

  • Small-group support and skill-building

  • Space for STEM-minded builders and creative learners to thrive

Program At-a-Glance

Grounded teaches through two learning pathways: STEM building and creative expression.

Pathways teach the same academic concepts from curriculum, but they do so through different lenses—allowing students to engage material in ways that foster deeper understanding and ownership of learning.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Students rotate through skill-based learning labs designed to strengthen understanding and build confidence. Lessons are structured, engaging, and hands-on—helping students apply what they’re learning at home through lived experiences.

  • Kindergarten students are taught entirely through play-based, developmentally appropriate learning. Through movement, exploration, creativity, and guided discovery, young learners build foundational skills while nurturing curiosity, joy, and a love of learning.

Students in 1st–8th grade will be taught through two intentional learning styles:

    • Creative Expression Pathway: imagination, storytelling, artistic exploration, relational learning, big-picture thinking

    • STEM Building Pathway: logic, structure, sequencing, analysis, and problem-solving

Both pathways will be used interchangeably through the day to teach the same foundational concepts.

  • Classrooms are intentionally created with one-on-one interaction in mind. Therefore, each class will have no more than 15 children in it and be taught by two teachers together.

    Grade ranges include:

*Grade placement is based on developmental readiness, parent’s assessment of their child, and classroom educational concept understanding.

*Nursery and toddler siblings attend free with an enrolled, paid student from the same household.

At Grounded, we believe the Lord has already planted purpose, gifts, and callings within every child.

Education is not about manufacturing ability, but about cultivating what God has already placed there.

Our heart is to come alongside families in nurturing the whole child academically, creatively, socially, and spiritually—so that learning becomes a tool for growth, confidence, and service.

Grounded exists to strengthen roots, build confidence, and support families as children grow in both skill and calling—honoring each child’s unique design and the role parents play as primary educators.
